We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Rochelle Park, New Jersey team and play a key role in executing international logistics projects from planning through delivery.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and documentation of complex domestic and international shipments. This role works closely with project managers, vendors, and customers to ensure shipments move safely, on time, and within scope.

This is an ideal role for someone who is detail-oriented, organized under pressure, prefers to handle shipments from A-Z, and excited to grow within the project logistics and freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as main point of contact for customers, UTC offices and partners around the world
  • Coordinate end-to-end shipment activities for general and project cargo shipments
  • Communicate with carriers, ports, terminals, truckers, and overseas agents
  • Prepare and review shipping documents (B/Ls, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
  • Track shipments and provide proactive status updates to internal teams and customers
  • Review incoming vendor invoices for accuracy and timely billing to customers for services provided
  • Support on-site project execution when required (ports, warehouses, loadouts)
  • Assist with the preparation of quotations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or project coordination
  • Familiarity with ocean freight, breakbulk, heavy-lift, or OOG cargo is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience with CargoWise TMS is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience & education
