Introducing UTC Transoceanic — Built for the Gulf Coast’s Next Chapter

UTC Overseas has officially launched UTC Transoceanic (UTC Transo), a new joint venture with Transoceanic Development LLC, headquartered in New Orleans. This strategic partnership positions us to capitalize on one of the most significant infrastructure investment cycles the Gulf Coast has seen in decades.

A Strategic Joint Venture for Gulf Coast Growth

UTC Transo combines UTC Overseas' proven global project logistics capabilities with Transoceanic Development's deep local expertise across Louisiana's ports, energy corridors, and supply chain networks. The result is a fully integrated operation built to handle the scale and complexity of the capital projects that are headed to the region.

Supporting Louisiana’s Major Infrastructure Investment Cycle

The opportunity in front of us is substantial. Louisiana has seen nearly $100 billion in capital project announcements over the last 18 months, with another $100 billion in the state's priority pipeline. These projects span combined-cycle power plants, LNG expansions, data center infrastructure, renewable fuels, hydrogen production, and carbon capture developments.

Full-Service Project Logistics for Complex Capital Projects

UTC Transo’s service offering covers the full project logistics spectrum: engineered transport, heavy lift and over-dimensional cargo handling, vessel chartering, multimodal transportation, and customs compliance — all through a single, accountable team with both global reach and local presence.

Open for Business in New Orleans

Having global capabilities combined with boots on the ground in Louisiana puts us right in the middle of the action. We have the relationships, the infrastructure knowledge, and the operational focus to ensure client cargo is delivered on time and on budget.

UTC Transo is open for business — and we're ready to get to work.

UTC Overseas Participates in High-Level U.S.-India Nuclear Energy Mission

I was honored to represent UTC Overseas as part of a high-level U.S. industry delegation visiting India to explore emerging opportunities within the country's rapidly evolving nuclear energy sector.

Strengthening U.S.-India Energy Collaboration

The delegation, organized by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) and the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), brought together senior executives from leading U.S. nuclear technology, engineering, consulting, legal, and infrastructure organizations for a series of meetings in Delhi and Mumbai.

Supporting India’s Nuclear Energy Expansion

The mission was driven by India's recently enacted SHANTI Act, a landmark policy initiative designed to facilitate greater participation by private industry, including international companies, in the country's nuclear sector. The legislation is expected to accelerate investment, strengthen international cooperation, and support India's ambitious plans for expanding nuclear power generation, including the future deployment of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).

Throughout the visit, delegation members engaged with senior government officials, regulators, policymakers, and private-sector stakeholders, including representatives of the Ministry of Finance and leadership from the states of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. Discussions focused on India's Nuclear Energy Mission, regulatory developments, supply chain readiness, infrastructure requirements, and opportunities for long-term U.S.-India collaboration.

The Role of Logistics in Critical Infrastructure Projects

For UTC Overseas, participation in the mission reflects the company's continued commitment to supporting large-scale energy, infrastructure, and industrial development projects worldwide. As governments and private investors increasingly focus on energy security, grid modernization, and clean power generation, logistics execution and supply chain resilience will play a critical role in transforming policy ambitions into operational reality.

What was most impressive was not only the scale of India's ambition, but the determination and professionalism with which government, regulators, and industry are working together to make it happen. The SHANTI Act has the potential to become a catalyst for a new era of collaboration and investment. While much of the focus today is rightly on policy and technology, successful implementation will ultimately depend on the ability to execute complex projects across vast distances and supply chains. That is where UTC Overseas can contribute meaningful value as a global logistics and infrastructure partner.

UTC Overseas’ Commitment to Global Energy Infrastructure

The visit further strengthens UTC Overseas' engagement with the global energy sector and reinforces the company's position as a trusted logistics partner for the next generation of critical infrastructure projects.
